Calgary Junk is owned and operated by Anvesh out of Airdrie, Alberta. We do junk removal across the northern Calgary corridor — fast, fair, and friendlier than the call-centres.
Why we started this.
After getting quoted $750 by a franchise to clear out a single-car garage, I figured I could do better. Bought a 7×12 trailer, a couple pairs of work gloves, and started taking on local jobs. Word got around fast — turns out a lot of Airdrie and Calgary North homeowners felt the same way about franchise pricing.
Two years later we're full-time, fully insured, and routing 60%+ of every job to donation or recycling instead of the landfill. Same trailer size as the franchises. Same crew effort. Just less margin to corporate, more value to you.
What we believe.
- Upfront pricing. "Call for quote" is a relic. Every page on this site has prices.
- Same-day matters. When you decide it's time, you don't want to wait 4 days.
- Don't dump if you can donate. Most "junk" still has a useful life. We sort, you save tax money.
- Locally owned beats franchised. Money stays in Airdrie. Decisions get made fast. Quality is on the owner.
